The Minister of Natural Resources and Wildlife may allow mining companies to carry out exploration in specific areas, under certain conditions.

  Any company who wishes to carry out mineral exploration on lands reserved to the State shall comply with certain rules, in order to minimize environmental impacts. These are the conditions required to the Norebec-Manitou reserve, Lacs Guillaume-Deisle and à l'Eau Claire, Rivière Témiscamie and Monts Otish and Puvirnituq.
