Description
Dolomite with a brown patina found in the upper
beds of a quarry, northwest of Saint-Ferdinand in the Centre-du-Québec
region. The rock belongs to the White Brook Formation of the Oak
Hill Group and it takes on a brown patina when exposed to the elements.
This dolomite is quarried for use as landscaping rock.
